My name is Charmilla Taylor, a young woman in her 20s with a story that shaped me long before I ever understood who I was becoming.

I am the 15th child of 16 children, born to a former African leader, and the second child to my mother of three girls. Life raised me in and out of Liberia for different reasons, but one thing remained constant throughout my journey — women.

I grew up surrounded by my mother, sisters, grandmother from my mother's side, aunties… honestly, almost entirely women. Strong women. Women who carried pain silently. Women who had to become everything at once.

I grew up without my father truly being around, and because of that, I witnessed firsthand what it looked like for a woman to carry the weight of the world on her shoulders while still trying to survive emotionally, spiritually, mentally, and financially.

I saw toughness before softness. Survival before peace. Responsibility before healing. And somewhere along the way, I lost parts of myself too.

There was a time I no longer recognized the sweet, patient, loving soul I once was. Life, trauma, disappointment, lack of affection, lack of presence, heartbreak, and emotional exhaustion slowly turned me into someone angry, impatient, deeply sad, and disconnected from herself.

Even now, I do not claim to have everything figured out. Only God knows the full ending of my story. But one thing has remained in my heart: to become the woman HE says I am.

I created this platform and this Blueprint for young women — especially those who have spent their entire lives only knowing how to be “strong.” The girls who had to grow up too fast. The girls who had to survive before they ever got the chance to simply live. The girls who are finally learning how to let go and let God.

This is for the women choosing discipline over destruction. Healing over hiding. Growth over settling. Faith over fear.

Everything I share here comes from lessons I am still learning myself. This is not perfection — this is becoming.
